ABOUT US
Leùlia is a family project born in Capo di Leuca, at the southernmost tip of Puglia. Our family has cultivated olive trees here for generations, in a land shaped by sun, wind, limestone soil and sea breeze. For us, olive oil has never been separate from daily life. It belongs to the harvest, to the kitchen, to the table and to the moments we share. Leùlia was created to bring this world beyond our family, without changing its origin: an organic extra virgin olive oil rooted in place, care and everyday use.
Our method
Leùlia begins with certified organic olives, harvested early in the season when the fruit is still green, firm and full of character. We work with selected olive varieties grown in our groves in Capo di Leuca, including Leccino, Ogliarola Salentina, Favolosa and Coratina. Each variety contributes something different to the final profile: freshness, softness, structure, balance and a distinctive peppery note. The final blend is carefully crafted to reflect the character of the harvest and the experience of those who know the groves and the mill. Within hours of harvest, the olives are brought to the mill and cold extracted at low temperature to preserve freshness, aroma and naturally occurring polyphenols. Nothing is added, and nothing unnecessary is done. The focus is simple: protect the quality of the fruit and let the oil express where it comes from.
Our project
Leùlia was created to bring our family’s organic extra virgin olive oil to your table, while preserving the values and gestures it comes from. The project brings together agricultural heritage, product quality and a contemporary vision of Mediterranean living. From the groves to the bottle, every choice is made to keep Leùlia clear, honest and recognizable: an oil with a precise origin, a refined profile and a strong connection to the place it comes from.
Our tradition
Every year, during harvest, the family gathers again in Leuca. Some of us live in different cities and countries, but the harvest remains the moment that brings everyone back. It is a ritual made of simple gestures: the nets under the trees, the olives collected by hand, the first trip to the mill, the first taste of the new oil. At home, olive oil has always been part of the way we cook, preserve and share food. Anna’s menu, the family pantry, the table and the everyday meals are all part of the same story. Leùlia comes from this tradition; not as something invented, but as something we have always lived.
